Shared Cottage Ownership
What is Shared or Fractional Cottage Ownership?
Shared cottage ownership is an attractive alternative to owning your own cottage. It's based on the concept of purchasing shares in a cottage, while leaving maintenance worries to someone else.
As many families cannot make use of a cottage on a full-time basis, it’s also a sensible alternative in terms of time and cost.
An interval or share at Tory’s Landing gives you five weeks of carefree cottaging. One fixed week every summer, and four additional weeks throughout the year selected by you on a rotational basis. Many owners have two (10 weeks per year) or even three shares (15 weeks per year).
Annual fees cover all service and maintenance for your cottage. You can purchase as many shares as you please. You can rent out the weeks you can't use or trade them with other shareholders.
Your cottage is 100 percent owned by its 10 shareholders. The property is managed by a professional property manager hired by a board of directors made up of your fellow cottagers. You pay only an annual maintenance fee based on actual costs.
Your cottage is also the doorway to other vacation dreams. Fractional ownership at Tory's Landing allows you to become a member of RCI and exchange your week(s) to enjoy over 3,700 affiliated worldwide vacation properties.
